After being home for a year, we will be leaving April 22. WooHoo!
We expect to be home in time to vote. Tho we don't know why we should bother.
Our route is unplanned. Our first destination will be Hoover's library in Iowa. Then we will take the northern route to Washington, arriving there around the Fourth of July. We will spend 2+ months in the NW and then head to Utah. We will enjoy Jeeping around Moab for a coupla weeks and then spend some time on the west side of the Colorado in a remote area we have not been to before.
Buying the Jeep, has turned out to be a great choice for us, as our hiking days are over. Adding to Dorothy's on going problems is a bad case of Plantar Fasciitis. A cast, PT and exercises has not helped much.
After all the tests I have had in the last year, they think sleep apnea is causing my shortness of breath and lack of energy in the afternoon. After moving at a glacial pace on it, I may actually get a CPAP next week.
It's alway good to get back on the road. Have a great trip.
